Born in the notoriously nice state of Minnesota, Chelle grew up during the lawless 80s. She spent summers barefoot, wandering the vast lawns and woods of her family’s estates. Fascinated by water, she spent hours swimming, canoeing, fishing, and rescuing turtles. Winters are cold in the North, and she spent them hurtling down snow covered hills or skating on frozen lakes. Chelle devoured books as a child, dreaming of being a writer herself one day. As she grew up, she laid aside her dreams to support others as they pursued theirs. Now, after decades, she is returning to her passion and honoring that little girl’s ferocious spirit and goals.
